Driving Texas

"Driving Texas" is a delightful ballad of an old man travelling across Texas on a very hot day. He sees a hitchhiker trying to get to town and decides to save him from the burning sun. But as they begin talking, he discovers the hitchhiker is much more than he seems and who gives him a gift that changes his life. In this new expanded edition, 2 additional poems are included for your reading pleasure. The first is called "Love Sets us Free", and is about a tired person on his way to work that tries to have a conversation with a spider. The second is "The Visitor", and its another ballad about a strange encounter with a mysterious person waiting on a park bench.
