Om Economy in DR Congo and Entrepreneurship:
Entrepreneurship is an approach to economic development. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the province of Central Kongo is among the models of private initiative. Pascal Kinduelo Lumbu is featured in this book for his international recognition by Forbes through his contributions to the Congolese economy. In addition, the Rawji Group, the Forrest Group, the Ledya Group, Dan Getler, Levi Robert, Abed Achour, Damseaux, Jean-Pierre Kiwakana Kimayala, Augustin Dokolo, Luc Gérard Mputu Nyafé, Gilbert Kiakwama, Moïse Katumbi, Albert Yuma Mulimbi, Jean-Pierre Bemba, Raphael Soriano Katoto Katebe, Arthur Kalala Katalayi, Albert Ndele, FEC, Perenco, Snel, Airtel, Vodacom and Bceco. Specific types of entrepreneurship are also discussed: musical, media, scientific and artistic. Finally, the pre-colonial trade links between the Kongo, Bobangi and Humbu peoples are discussed.
