Om EDIE, A Mystery Solved
EDIE, A Mystery Solved In the early 2000s an actress in New York attempted to pass herself off as a relative of Andy Warhol's most famous superstar, Edie Sedgwick, in a quest for fame. This book is a behind-the-scenes account of what happened then, and in the years that followed. It began with an unsolicited email and ended up in tragic consequences. In the process of telling the (true) story it provides a new account of Andy Warhol and his superstars during the 1960s and clears up some of the inaccuracies about Edie Sedgwick. She did not, for instance, die of a heroin overdose. The Author Gary Comenas (co-may-ness) is a Londoner who has been researching and writing on Andy Warhol for the past two decades. His essays have been cited in more than fifty books about the artist and his work. In addition to hosting a popular Warhol website, he is also the author of The Real World, Murder a Porter (the second edition of Murder to Wear), and Suspect Everyone! Prior to writing books, he did PR for a major record label.
