Om Encyclopedia of New York Indians (Volume Two)
There is a great deal of information on the native peoples of the United States, which exists largely in national publications. Since much of Native American history occurred before statehood, there is a need for information on Native Americans of the region to fully understand the history and culture of the native peoples that occupied New York and the surrounding areas. Volume Two contains an Introduction from the Publisher with regards to the 1995 Native American Rights Fund, a Colorado-based advocacy group to distribute a treatise work titled: A Brief U.S. Government Guide to the Use of Laws to Suppress Indians.
The remainder of Volume 2 contains the Indian Treaties of the American Woodland Nations.
