As the "Evermore Trilogy" begins, Jack Rand is a thirty-year-old nobody until he meets Unim, a biped plant from the planet Zeta6. It's a textbook alien abduction that suddenly goes awry when Unim's mutiny aboard the starship, Luminer, changes everything.
Overnight, Jack's hometown of Evermore, Pennsylvania, becomes the staging ground for retaking the starship, a scientific craft commissioned by the rulers of Zaroz, Zeta6 and Hool.
