Exploring Indigenous Lands With Mukwa and Waagosh

This resource is intended for caregivers and educators to actively engage children in conversations about building connections and encouraging them to care for the land they live on. Anything can be learned and shared through a story. Storytelling is a fundamental part of Indigenous cultures and allows for learning, sharing of knowledge, and making connections. This resource features the Story of Mukwa and Waagosh which introduces topics of land acknowledgments, relationships to land, Indigenous Peoples, Indigenous history, and Indigenous beliefs.
