Family Day

A wonderful children’s picture book that celebrates the diversity of families and promotes Family Day as a day where no child should feel left out.At school, the teacher wants her students to draw a picture of their families for Family Day. Some students ask questions, and the teacher explains that families come in all shapes and sizes: some children have only one parent; some have two moms or two dads; some live with their grandparents. Yet, whether they are big or small, look alike or different, the children learn that every family is special in its own unique way.
