His existence of want and sacrifice is one that tells the story of a man from a young age who spent years just trying to survive and had no focus and no idea of what to do with his life. Then in a magic moment, he came to know that he wanted to dedicate his future to helping young people who were in great need of many kinds of support. He found that to do so he would have to educate not only the youth but their parents as well. After two failed marriages, Andrew found the perfect loving partner in his wife, Nicole, and they established the Raising The Bridge non-profit youth organization. In The Ladder, Andrew outlines the battles and successes he’s lived through in his personal life, in providing for his own children, and in doing all he can within Raising The Bridge to meet the emotional, physical, educational, and spiritual needs of his home town youth.
