Om Murrenmaw
Morgan Murrenmaw was a broken man who'd given up on life entirely. Terrible misfortunes had seen him become lost on a long and agonising route through a labyrinth of inhibition, doubt and regret. He'd have given an arm, a leg, or even perhaps his soul, for another chance to be able to rise up, brush the dirt from his jacket and the cobwebs from his tortured mind. When his unconventional romance with Beatrice abruptly ends, Murrenmaw is left emotionally and spiritually crushed. But perhaps he should've seen it coming, after all he'd spent the previous few weeks preoccupied with memories of a disturbing dream he'd had; a dream in which the Devil had offered him an almost irresistible deal. With his beloved Beatrice gone from his side, he begins to fear that perhaps not all dreams are just fantasies created by a sleeping mind, but some are warnings from God.
