Escape is filled with real life stories that may have been changed to protect others. As an outlet, these writings, though angry, sexy, political, spiritual, and more proved therapeutic while serving a federal sentence of 69 months for crimes not committed by me. The rage, frustration, and absurdity of what was happening messed with her mind!! For almost two years, her brain had her living in an outer body existence. She heard things, saw things, and experienced things she would have never experienced prior to becoming yet another statistic, an inmate. Ugly, horrible, evil, things happened that one never wants to see much less deal with, EVER!! Needing a way to KEEP good days, writing saved her, tapping into something she never knew existed, her truths and voice. She began venting about past, present, and future situations. As a result, she was able to touch the hearts and lives of hundreds of women and some men. She demonstrated her unshakeable faith and love of the Lord while never backing down. This time away forced her to evaluate her life along with processing a lifetime of traumatic instances, that go as far back aseight years old, (many caused by toxic relationships). Through faith, prayers, and growing intimately closer to God and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she not only survived but triumphed under extremely stressful, unfamiliar, and sometimes dangerous circumstances. She re-entered the world on a mission to make positive impacts while here on earth, appreciating EVERYTHING right town to having toilet tissue on demand.

"O Israel", is a book that reveals that Abraham was told that his descendants had to go into bondage a second time as stated in Genesis. This second time into slavery was due to their sinful nature and acceptance of false gods. God said that this is done as a Sign and Wonder as written in Deuteronomy. The Sign may be God's pointing to the people that he had selected to share his message to the world, and a wonder so that mankind would spend a lifetime studying his Bible. Even though these people went through this terrible event in their lives, God still loved them, because He remembered the Abrahamic and Davidic covenants. I will step aside and allow God to tell this story, as written in the pages of His Bible. The Bible will reveal the identity of who these people are.

  • - Growing Wild and Free in America Just Like You and Me
    av Kathryn Felton
    175,-

Kathryn has been a math and science teacher for many years. She also taught choirs and worked with several State of Florida programs as an advocate in the area of child abuse and neglect. She has served on the board for a children's museum and was a founding board member of the Tampa Museum of Fine Arts. These are the thoughts that she wishes to pass on to her children, grandchildren, and all of the children on the planet. According to Heidi Flatin, MD, reading aloud to your children says, "I love you !" Read slowly, be expressive, throw in your own sound effects. Talk about the pictures, show the words and stop periodically to ask questions. See what your child thinks and give your ideas on the topic. This habit should be instilled with your children at a very early age. It is unbelievable what actually will sink in. It certainly helps the bonding and sharing time with your children and does so better than sitting in front of a television or computer. Also, you can throw in a few phonics lessons. My daughter has been reading daily with her twins from the time they were a few months old until today. The memories and lessons, that build so early, are amazing. My Mother did this with me and I still recall those early impressions. Peter Rabbit stories actually taught me a lot. Do not let the early days pass by without sharing your favorite books. Hopefully, this book will open the door for you to share many of your own special thoughts with your children.

The Lazarus Syndrome is a non-fictional book detailing a little-known medical event that has been happening to people for centuries but did not draw attention until a few years ago. It occurs when a patient is declared dead by a medical professional but revives spontaneously minutes, hours or days later. It is an event that I have experienced but rarely discussed it with anyone except family members and close friends. The difference between my experience and most others is that I have done it on numerous occasions while most others have only done it once or twice. Medical professionals failed to report Lazarus events in fear of malpractice suits and other consequences they did not want to face. It turns out that the event is not quite as unusual as previously believed or admitted to. The book details case histories listing amazing and even "miraculous" resuscitations. The book also includes NDEs - Near Death Experiences and OBEs - Out of body Experiences which are sometimes related to or consequences of one another. In addition, it covers related medical research attempting to improve methods of CPR, resuscitation, and avoiding brain damage. Other related fields discussed include Cryogenics, memory restoration, Artificial Intelligence, neural implants, Gene editing, electronic prosthetics among others. The book also includes a personal memoir including personal Lazarus Syndrome events, experience in Vietnam, Education, and Law Enforcement experience.

DEVELOPING TRUSTLife, as I choose to call the omnipotent power within, loves you more than you love yourself. Frankly, this is one of the most valuable perceptions that you can envision your life through. You see, Life undeniably has your back, but did anyone ever assure you of that or actually teach you the significance of this empowering statement? I'm always telling my friends and clients that, "Life loves you and talks to you and guides you at all times, but you just don't pay attention."It was the old adage, "Live and Learn" that led me to question the experiences in my own life and search for a better understanding of the human condition. The introduction to this text will open an autobiographical window into my own journey providing a glimpse into some of my "live and learn" moments. The body of this publication is a comprehensive study, over four decades, of the nature of mankind and its reality. The Epilogue will give you insight into my surviving the unthinkable and why appreciation, sharing, and service are my heart's commissions to a life of fulfillment. We are all experiential beings through the sentiment of our emotions. Our true mission and purpose for this life experience is to develop trust and cultivate that trust in knowing who we are and why we are here on this planet. Though it is mostly obscured from our emotional understanding, our challenges play as important a role as our successes in deepening that trust, thus...It's All Good!

  • av Henry H. Kennedy

After attending Princeton and Harvard Law School, Henry Kennedy Jr. was appointed a United States magistrate when he was just twenty-eight. As the youngest federal judicial officer ever appointed, Kennedy handled many contentious proceedings for which he was ill prepared-all while enduring a short yet failed marriage. But it was not until he was preparing to lead a discussion at a judges' prayer breakfast that Kennedy ultimately plunged into the darkness of depression. In a fascinating retelling of his life story, Kennedy chronicles his experiences as an African American federal judge who successfully confronted the debilitating symptoms of clinical depression while presiding over consequential cases and issues of our time. While traveling back into his past and revealing his family's battles with racism and segregation, Kennedy leads others down an inspirational path that proves that positive change is not achieved in one day, but instead throughout a lifetime. Blessed with the guidance and example of his parents and supported by an unlikely cadre of friends, Judge Kennedy is living proof that there is hope for those suffering from depression that they too can overcome their challenges and reclaim their lives, just as he did. My Life on the Courts is the candid memoir of an African American federal judge that chronicles his journey through the courts and out of the depths of depression.

Have you ever seriously considered the most difficult and puzzling questions presented to our minds during this mortal sojourn through an often difficult and challenging existence? Who am I? Where did we come from? Why am I here? Where am I going? And perhaps the most important question of all: What is my purpose in living? In this ultra-modern, digital world of today, many people have become so preoccupied with the daily pursuits of life and the addictive overuse of time-consuming technology that most of them rarely pause to seriously consider what life is actually all about. In writing The Mystery of Life, it has been my hope and goal to personally challenge each reader to consider many revealed facts and to follow a line of evidence pointing toward a worldview that is often overlooked and too easily disregarded. We live in an aggressive, technology-driven world where the wild pursuit of power, position, pleasure, and possession has become the driving influence ruling over many of our lives. What does your worldview look like? Is there enough evidence to support it beyond a reasonable doubt? If not, then I invite you to consider a vast body of mounting evidence that could lead toward a more accurate discernment of an often confusing existence. The view of life that we have each come to know will strongly influence everything we do, say, and become in this world. Based on a remarkable consensus of evidence, perhaps we should consider a worldview understanding that will, ultimately, avail our hearts and minds of the personal fulfillment and satisfaction we have always longed for and often dreamed of. We owe it to ourselves to seriously consider where the evidence is leading us. Isn't it about time to discover the answers to our most persistent and pressing questions? The Mystery of Life is a literary expose' addressing the questions of origin, meaning, morality, and destiny.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. Michael Jian's new novel "Sh-Boom, The Way of the World" tells a story, forward-and-backward looking, of a man late in life who suddenly realizes Plan A is dead- on-arrival. The job market does not want a newly-minted, but not young, Ph.D., even one an accomplished entrepreneur and business executive. The hero in this story is broke, heavily in debt from student loans and without a wife or a girlfriend. His family and loved ones are a plane ride away. He relies on faith and prayer. Yet, apart from scams that continually dash hopes, the years pass, his Plan B's are ephemeral. "Sh-Boom' is not easy to describe because it is a panorama of episodes of life's ups-and-downs," Jian says. "It is a love story, for sure. Yet it is mostly a jewel of exhibiting the self-interest motive of human behavior. Tears and joy, hopes and dreams, success and failure, betrayal and instances to excite the heart. Even a surprise ending." For readers who enjoy a long tale guaranteed to bring out emotions, Sh-Boom is it. Believable characters, exotic places, the centrality of faith and one of true love.

Muhammad Ali, James Brown, Al Green, and other celebrities made cameo appearances in the autobiography of author, Anthony L. Freeman, which is also a history of our times. Vignettes seem to be apparent in the reflector glasses worn by the author, a fast-moving young man bent on realizing a successful career as a vocalist. As a young black child growing up in Atlanta, Anthony suffered a childhood that was marred by accidental violence, even as his country suffered from the more intentional violence and injury, with the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Senator Robert F. Kennedy. The author's life was highlighted by danger and glamour, and the narrative culminates in the march on Forsyth County, a major civil rights march in Georgia in which the author served as a marshal on January 19, 1987. Written by an author with a narrative gift and a very readable style, Lust and Vainglory: A Close Encounter with Death and Success describes the forces and events that shaped the author's life. Even though the author knew fear at various times of his life, he never allowed it to impede progress..

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph returned to Nazareth from Egypt when Jesus was about three years old. At the time, Jesus was just a child, but he was a special child who would grow to become the savior of the world-but that would be thirty years later. What happened in between the birth of Jesus and the beginning of his ministry? In From Three to Thirty, go on a fictionalized journey into the life of a miraculous man.
