In remembrance of Christ's suffering, Winning Over Whatever: the Ultimate Wow Factor features 39 testimonials of victory over life's challenges; one for each stripe scholars believe that Jesus Christ bore as punishment for His claims to be the Son of God. Beaten and tortured before He was nailed to a cross to die, Jesus was scourged by Roman soldiers with an instrument created for the sole purpose of tearing apart human flesh. He chose to bear this burden, taking on the sins and griefs of the world in this ultimate sacrifice, all because of His love for humanity. In each testimony, you will read various accounts from people who experienced bleak, unfavorable, seemingly hopeless, and even tragic circumstances in their lives. However, through God's divine intervention, faith, and trust in His power to supernaturally change their situation, they each emerged from their personal battles victoriously. Disease, depression, trauma, poverty, lack, and even death itself, are no match for our all powerful God. Immerse yourself in these stories to witness the benefit of having faith in God because God's power is the ultimate WOW factor! The daughter of retired pastors, Melody T. Monroe was raised in the church and has served within the music ministries of various churches throughout her youth and adult life. She is a National Board Certified music teacher and the award winning children's author of Pete Cluckington and the Others. Winning Over Whatever: the Ultimate WOW Factor is Melody's first publication in the Christian genre. Although she has been focused on elementary music education, she also has a strong passion for using her voice to share the good news of the gospel to those in need of faith and hope.
I was inspired to write this book due to the injustices, inequalities and inequities in the great nation of America. History has proven that it is a fact that these injustices do exist. In the years 2017-2022, it has been prevalent throughout the nation and still exists to this day. Racism and hatred are at an all-time high and the country has been divided by toxic rhetoric and politics. It seems like "We the People" can't agree on anything. Also, the overwhelming grief I felt over the loss of my two children. As a Christian, I can't understand those that claim to be Christians participating in the hatred. Those that claim to be "Christ-like" but are hating those that disagree with their political beliefs. It caused me to ask the question "What's going on?" I named the book "The Fallen Petals" because people are dying every day because of hate. Linda Lawson was born in Blairs, Virginia in 1953 on a tobacco farm. Her family moved from Virginia to New Jersey in 1958 in the dead of winter with no place to go. Linda's father sought work in Pedericktown on a farm. Her family then moved to Mullica Hill, and Linda lived there until she graduated high school in 1972 and married that same year. To that union, six children were born but Linda is the mother of eight. The Bible says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivers them out of them all." Linda was inspired to write this book because of the awful things that were happening in our great nation starting in 2017. Linda's website is www.hearttopaper.com
How often do you express your love for God? Showing love for God is something we give very little thought to doing. If we were to think about how to show love for God, we may become lost for any ideas to show our love. In this book I list fifty simple everyday ways to not only honor God but show your love for him. You will find these ways easy to apply and easy to teach to your children or share with family and friends. I may be the least qualified person to write a book for God. this book is proof God can use anyone to get his message out to the world. I was away from the church for over 35 years before he called me back to his house. when I returned to the church the Lord prompted me to start writing first sermons then books then finally a screenplay. When I sit to write at my keyboard, I can feel him near and his words in my ear. as a very simple person I wrote this book to be a simple easy book for people of all ages and to bring honor and glory to God.
Brothers and sisters, this book will help you understand what it truly means to feed your soul to keep it alive. It will help you see that this can only be done by eating the Bread of Life, (reading God's Word). Just like you need to feed your body food each day, you also need to feed your soul, His word, the Bread of Life. Jesus states in the Book of John, (John 6:53-58) that we must eat of His flesh and drink of His blood to receive eternal life. John 6:53-58 53 So Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you. 54 But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. 57 I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 I am the true bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will not die as your ancestors did (even though they ate the manna) but will live forever. At the age of thirty-four, I experienced firsthand of what it felt like to go without eating the Bread of Life. I was put in a situation where I could only read His word. When I stopped, I felt my soul dying to the strong desire (hunger) of needing His word. Because I had read it before, the Holy Spirit trained my soul of where to eat from after my soul started dying from hunger due to different challenges and tragedies I faced in my life. You see brothers and sisters, challenges, struggles, and tragedies can all turn you away from the Bread of Life. As I began reading again, my soul was revived. I felt His nourishment and power come over my soul. Brothers and Sisters you will not survive this life if you don't eat the Bread of Life as shared throughout this small devotional that I have put together for you. It is truly a life changer. Matthew: 4:4 (NLT) 4 But Jesus told him, "No! The Scriptures say, 'People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'

Let's face it the odds are stacked up against our children today. LifeLine Lessons provides sound teaching that would enhance the abundant life our children should have. The Bible says, "people perish because of the lack of knowledge." Well this is that knowledge that our youth must have! I'm Lottie Stewart from St. Louis, MO. I was pregnant at 14 years of age. My biological Dad was executed on death row, so he spent most of my childhood in prison. I was pregnant at the age of 14 and gave birth at 15. My son's father spent most of my son's childhood in prison. Most of the men in my family and my neighborhood went to prison. As a young single parent I asked God to help me with my son. God saved me and instructed me to teach my son lessons to help his life. My son is now a graduate of the ITT Technical Institute with a great job. I have never even had to pick my son up from the police station. I give God all of the glory and honor! I also want to share these lessons with other youth!
A reserved ten-year-old boy known as "Win" has a great passion for playing musical instruments. Every year, he joins the afterschool program to learn how to play different instruments. Mr. Raymond helps Win with his confidence to play in front of people for the first time. Win imagines himself with Mr. Raymond's disability to perform and learns a valuable lesson that practicing helps him to get better but will not be perfect. Tressie wishes to share some of her life changing events and her rememberable moments to readers.
As a child of the most high God; God through his word teaches us that His divine healing, health, and wholeness belong to His children. Once we get a revelation of God's word, our faith increases in this area and manifestation will take place in our lives. "Faith begins where the will of God is known; God's will is His word." (Grant, 2022) "Will You Be Made Whole: Scriptures for Daily Living" is a list of Old Testament and New Testament scriptures quotations are taken from the King James version of the Bible to assist you with the process of getting started. The spiritual battle of light versus dark wages on. Satan and his demons constantly try to overcome the minds of God's children to turn them away from their Heavenly Father, but God always finds a way to fight back through the use of not just spiritual angels, but mortal vessels, as well. One such vessel from a small church in Langley, Ohio is blessed with incredible spiritual abilities that can only be compared to those housed by Philip in the Book of Acts. Sarah, a woman of unbreakable faith, has been blessed with the ability to transport from one place to another in an instant as well the gift of speaking in tongues. With these unique abilities, she is sent on various assignments by God to bring salvation and faith to those who have lost their way. From a man as powerful as a cardinal of the church to a pastor who committed a sin that could cost him his church to a single mother with children encouraged to return to her ex, no one is exempt from God's saving grace through His vessel. Encounters with the enemy are an unfortunate addition as danger lurks in the shadows with each assignment, casting Sarah into numerous battles against Satan and his minions. Yet fighting alongside spiritual angels and backed by mortal prayer warriors of her church as well as God Himself, she is more than up for the task of being the vessel her Heavenly Father needs her to be. The Rose: Heavenly Gifts by Edie Loudenslager is a story of restoration, faith, and the ever-constant battle of light versus darkness. The spiritual battle continues, but by spreading God's grace through the use of vessels, God can perform miracles to protect His children, and victory will always be assured. Edie Loudenslager is a retired Christian school teacher who lives in Ohio with her husband of 49 years. She has three grown sons and ten grandchildren. She has enjoyed writing for more than 25 years. Her writing education includes continuing education writing courses and several writing conferences. One of her favorite hobbies was telling her children and grandchildren spun stories that they would enjoy. She recently was overjoyed in hearing her grandchildren asking their daddy to create and tell them a story. What a blessing to have passed on a family tradition of using our God-created imagination to delight others.
Adventure harnessed with enthusiasm . . . hardship met with grit . . . escaping the Communists . . . through unknown lands and the Tibetan plateau . . . After World War II ended, the Communist Revolution led by Mao Zedong began a scourge that slaughtered tens of millions of Chinese people and expelled and imprisoned thousands of foreigners, including many Americans and missionaries. In 1949, Russell LaVerne Morse, the son of missionaries in China, was a 20-year old college student. When he received a letter from his father in China urging him to come quickly to rejoin the family and assist with evacuations, he made a decision that would alter the course of his life. This is LaVerne's journal of escaping from the impending overthrow of China, facing hardship and adventure with an unshakable faith that God would provide a way. Russell LaVerne Morse was born in 1929 to missionaries and grew up in China. He served in Burma for 10 years along with his wife Lois and later became a missions professor. LaVerne spiritually mentored Christian leaders around the world; he was greatly loved and was known in Asia as M. Pha Joseph, or "Teacher Joseph."
It has been said, "The object of preaching is, constantly to remind mankind of what mankind is constantly forgetting...." * Pastor Lance D. This book is about the great doctrine of justification by faith alone and how it relates to pneumatology, regeneration, sanctification, and glorification. The book investigates many aspects of soteriology and reveals how hamartiology as a branch of Christian theology relates to justification and glorification in the eschaton. We examine the history of the holiness movement. This work is about our identity and our destiny and how Christ's magnificent work can help us to overcome guilt and depression. This work presents the gospel message as it relates to other branches of Christian theology. We look at the supernatural and how to mount up with wings like the eagle. Eric A. In this world, with its intricate and vastly different levels of experiences, we are called to live as Christians and as citizens of Heaven. We are called to represent the divine will of God despite the wickedness sent upon us by the kingdom of darkness. But what many of us have yet to discover is the ability to shape our world through the power of prayer. After preaching passionately on the subject of prayer, Jemiriye Fakunle's disciples gave him reason to share his Christian experience and convictions on prayer with a wider group of audience. In Understanding the Power of Prayer, Fakunle's intention is to take readers on a progressive journey in the Christian formation to a place where they lose all excuses for leading a prayerless Christian life. Fakunle was inspired by the desire to see the birth of a new breed of Christians who truly know how to bring Heaven to earth until the will of God in Heaven becomes our earthly realities. Prayer revives us. It is formidable to the Enemy and renewing in spirit. It doesn't matter who or where you are in the world; we all have the ability to create our own reality and live above the political intimidation, corruption, and vices that penetrate the fabrics of society. If your desire is to live for Christ and live the conqueror's life as you serve God and His people, this book is for you. Author Randy Chesler's "The Untold Truth About Salvation" takes you on a journey, from Genesis to Revelation, challenging everything you thought you knew about God and the Bible. This controversial outlook explores the real truth behind God's ultimate plan of salvation. Throughout this journey, Chesler takes a look at a lot of scriptures that most people don't notice, or they just breeze right by them. This book examines many common, popular beliefs about God and His plan, and answers a lot of questions about the discrepancies that arise from these beliefs. The ones that keep nagging in the back of our heads. This close look at the Bible is especially helpful when what we are hearing, and what the Bible actually says, just aren't adding up. Chesler has always had a fascination with numbers, so when things aren't adding up it makes him go "Hmm?". And for years, what Chesler was hearing in church just wasn't adding up to what the Bible actually says. The more he thought about it, the more puzzling it became. The more he pondered, the bigger the mystery got. Eventually, he couldn't ignore that feeling anymore. Then, out of depths of Chesler's determination to solve the mystery and answer some of these nagging questions, came the birth of this book. And finally, some of the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit together.
A lesser person's footsteps would have sounded like they were walking on dry cornflakes. He was 'still-hunting' in a fall drought. Stalking one of God's most perceptive animals in its home environment. This was no novice! His were the skills of a bowhunter who had honed his trade. That had not always been the case... He started as a DIY who set out to teach himself how to hunt. "I can figure it out on my own" lessons came hard. Some ending in smelling salts. Through the author's satire, follow the comical journey that forged him into the hunter he is today. Each entertaining story along the way is packed with lessons which can capture and hold the attention of a budding hunter. Lessons following the mantra... "If you don't know something, ask someone who does!" Humorous childhood stories told by our grandparents are the ones we retain through life. Mark Cloer is from a small town in SC. He learned most of his life knowledge hands on. True to form, he took that approach when "Learning to Hunt". Friends gathered around evening campfires encouraged him to share with others... "Tell them about the time you did this or that". The laughter was often followed by comments about writing a book. So ultimately, he did. Making sure that the comical stories also provided lessons for 'the newbies.' The book placed him on the path where God wanted him. It did so because through HIS guidance, he was able to seek out from others the same advice he was promoting. If you don't know something, ask someone who does. That transformed him into the writer he is today. He loves hunting and he's passionate about sharing that with others. Writing, diving, and history are also high on his list of interest.
The Bible is called the Book of Blood because more than any other subject, the blood is referred to directly or indirectly from Genesis to Revelation. The only thing that could reconcile God and man was blood. God is holy. The holiness of God demanded that a penalty was paid for sin; blood. Not just any blood, but Innocent human blood. The Old Covenant was sealed with the blood of animals which TEMPORARILY covered the sins of the Hebrews. The New Covenant was sealed PERMANENTLY with the Blood of Jesus which removes the sin of all men. God required animal blood as a way for His people to atone for their sins. This ritual only served to expose the sins of the people. Those rituals not only pointed to the severity of the people's sin, they also pointed to the Coming of the Ultimate Sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ. Animal sacrifices had to be offered over and over again, daily; continuously. Animal sacrifices had to be done repeatedly because they were only short-term. Those sacrifices symbolized the human sacrifice; the Final Sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. God never desired animal sacrifices. He wanted a Perfect Human Sacrifice. That is why He sent His Son to shed His Blood and die on the Cross. No amount of animal blood could wash our sins away or pay the death price! Blood versus blood, hands down, the Blood of Jesus is the Supreme Sacrifice for sin. The Blood of Jesus saves from eternal damnation and gives you eternal life. Jesus only had to die once, for all: all sin and all men, everywhere. Hands down, the Blood of Jesus versus the blood of animals is far more superior! The Final Sacrifice has come and died once, for us all. DR. WILHELMENA GODFREY is author of God's Weapons of Mass Destruction. Dr. Godfrey is an evangelist, teacher, and conference speaker. Dr. Godfrey has an earned Doctor of Theology from Vision Christian University, Ramona, California and a Certificate of Continuing Education for Leadership and Supervisory Skills for Women, Rockhurst, NY.
