Romans 12:2 encourages believers to "be transformed by the renewing of our minds." Transformation and renewal are works of the Holy Spirit within us, but we each have a role to play in the process. The most effective way to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in this work is to daily fill our minds and hearts with the Word of God. Christy Coleman Schuette wrote Journey Through the Bible as a tool to aid in this daily walk with the Lord. Each of the 365 entries contains an Old Testament passage, a New Testament passage, a Psalm, and a Proverb, along with a brief devotional reflection. In just a few minutes a day, Journey Through the Bible helps readers focus their minds and hearts on the timeless truths that transform and renew us so that we might "discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God." Christy Coleman Schuette is a wife, mother, grandmother, and follower of Jesus Christ. Christy was born and raised in Arab, Alabama. She is a 1987 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in social work and a 1988 graduate of the University of Alabama with a master's in social work. This book emphasizes Scripture memory, because spoken Scripture is your only defense against Satan and his demons. In this book, I'll show you how easy it is to memorize Scripture verses, short passages, and whole chapters. I'll explain why you have no "appetite" for Scripture memory, and how to overcome your reluctance to do it. In one of the chapters, entitled, "The Night I Stood Up To The Devil", I'll share my own true story of how, in the dark of night, I spoke a short Bible verse as I felt evil about to overwhelm me. The moment I spoke, that feeling of being attacked vanished. I'll show you how to eliminate unwanted thoughts, and why God found it necessary to create the universe, including the earth we live in. When you equip yourself as I describe, you will enjoy peace, joy, and contentment. My name is Jan (James R) Smith. I live near St.Paul, in Minnesota. I wasn't always an evangelical Bible Christian. I was raised in a faith tradition that emphasizes rites and rituals, but teaches nothing about using the Bible to equip yourself for the struggles of life. In fact, well into my adult years, I didn't even know what the Bible was. Some kind of church book. That's how I was, well into my adult years. But then, the time came when I began listening to Bible teaching on the radio. I was astonished to learn that the Bible is filled with Wisdom from God! My spiritual gift is: recognizing problems, then creating solutions. Soon I realized, I should be sharing these "solutions" with other people. So, I created a web site: wordblessings.com Sixteen of my blog articles are included in this book. I hope you like them!

I decided to become a medical doctor at the age of twelve. I was focussed on just being a doctor and nothing else. But after medical school while working in ER in the Bahamas I received a life-changing prophetic word while attending a conference in Tulsa, OK, USA. God wanted to use me as a medical scientist (50%) and divine healer (50%). "Things IMPOSSIBLE with medical science are POSSIBLE with Dr JESUS" is the Title of my book that was birthed after discovering that medical science could not heal any diseases. The Word of God says, "For with God Nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37)". While here on earth, Jesus went about healing "All" diseases with no failure recorded. Medical Science cannot claim similar achievements. Today over half a million lives are dead from the pandemic COVID-19 because medical science cannot control it. A 7-year old girl's life was snatched away by melanoma, an aggressive cancer. An eleven-year-old boy, on Oprah Winfrey's show, heard voices to kill his mother with a kitchen knife when he developed these uncontrollable temper tantrums. Control of the problem was elusive for medical science. Jesus had a similar type of demonic confrontation with 'Legion', but He healed the possessed man completely in a matter of time. Medical science has certainly shown remarkable advancement technologically and believes spuriously that it does not need the assistance of the Divine Healer where illness is concerned. This is worsened by clinicians who believe that divine healing does not mix with the expert ability of medical science. Kathryn Kuhlman, a woman used mightily by God, in divine healing stated, "Any doctor who lacks faith in the Supreme Being has no right to practice medicine". If doctors say, "Nothing else can be done, that is it". But there is One "who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL that we ask or think ...". Medical science is imperfect, but the Word of God is perfect and health to all the flesh. Satan came to steal, to kill and to destroy but Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). T Gordon Fair-Brain Mtetwa is a medical doctor, with special interest in medical Oncology. He is a positive thinker, a catalyst for change, a proponent for racial equality and a conduit for the function of the Holy Spirit. He received his BA at Marshall University, W Va., USA; a Medical Degree, Faculty of Medicine, UWI; MSc in Pain Management from University of Leicester and Diploma in Clinical Oncology; University of Birmingham, England. Dr Fair-Brain is passionate about fair and honest treatment of people of every colour and race. He aspires to assist in Healing Hurting Hearts.

Imagine the concept of tuning a radio to different stations. As the reader flips through the dial (turns the page), one frequency is a light whimsical poem, and the turning of the nob brings a sad and thought-provoking analogy of growing old, and next, the warm special-enjoyment of holding someone's hand. The reader will enjoy turning the dial and observing the life of two doves, and later, observing two ducks. (Yep, you're "gonna hafta" buy the book to read these fine works of literature.) As you read; enjoy "turning a knob" and finding something heartwarming, or tear jerking, or humorous or enlightening, or brilliant (well maybe not too bright) observations of life. I Promise, you will look forward to "changing the frequency", as you adjust the dial in "Channels of Delight". Born in Bluefield, West Virginia, much of Dan's young life was spent in the Appalachian Mountains. Leaving home after high school, He joined the Air Force. There he became an Air Traffic Controller and ended up serving a year in Vietnam. After The Air Force and a stint with the Federal Aviation Administration, Dan earned 3 college degrees and taught Speech at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. He then became involved with The Washington Health Care Association where he truly began his writing career. Creating all types of written materials: magazines, newsletters, brochures, and pamphlets, filled with many of his own stories, editorials and commentary. Later he bought a few assisted living facilities. During these years he began writing poetry and stories of his experiences and observations. Hence, this book. Daily Encounters with God is a devotional book that can be used by an individual or a group. This book is a study on the Attributes of God. Each chapter covers an attribute, scripture references, a personal God Encounter by the author, discussion questions for a life application, and a prayer. As you study the attributes of God, you will understand more clearly how God interacts with us in our daily lives. Sometimes we are aware of these encounters, but often we are not. It is in our "remembering" that we can put all the pieces of the puzzle together and see God at work. In running the race set before us, we often get discouraged, but it is in the times of suffering and trials that we grow the most in our faith, if we will only persevere. When we see God's hand involved, we become even more determined to run our best race. As you study each devotion, I pray you will be inspired, encouraged, and realize God has a perfect plan for your life. When you recognize your own God Encounters, share them to help someone else in the marathon race called life! Vickie Tingwald was born in Missouri and raised in Iowa. Her and Gary moved their family to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 1991. She has been a widow since 2018, when her husband Gary passed away after a seven-year battle with ALS. Vickie and Gary were married for 50 years and have 4 adult children and seven grandchildren. Vickie is a retired Assemblies of God US Missionary and Children's Pastor. Vickie has known suffering but remain sold out and radical for Jesus! Vickie has written two other books: "Finding Joy In The Journey" chronicles their family's ALS journey and "Finding Me" is about dealing with grief.

She communicates that He wants this book to reach the world because so many in the body of Christ and the world judge men by their outward appearance, but our God judges men by the heart. Her moving testimony is a beautiful revelation of how Jesus takes a life and removes it from darkness, changing and filling it with His marvelous light, just like He did with her husband. If you are ready to encounter God and experience life-altering innerchange, this book is for you.

For generations, thousands upon thousands of young American men and women have paid the ultimate price, giving their lives for their country when at war. Many have gone to perform their service and duty, in all branches of the U.S. military, and have done so with the hope of making America a better, more secure place to live: to raise families, live freely, and follow the pursuit of happiness. So many young soldiers have bet their lives on this bargain, and thousands more have given up their physical and mental health, to uphold the American Dream. This "American stock" of the drafted and volunteered youth of war, bet their lives on this dream and lost. And, many surviving veterans and their families are plagued with problematic questions that persist in their demand for an answer: Why? Was war necessary for the safety and protection of our country or others? Was my child's life wasted for a government or politician's personal agenda for political gain? In this candid, heartfelt, and morally searching memoir, American Stock, author and retired U.S.A.F. Chief Master Sergeant Terry Savoie seeks to find answers and personal peace to these pressing questions by sharing his own life and story, and a military career that spanned from 1968 to 1993. Within these pages, at turns heartwarming and nostalgic, other times horrific and heartbreaking, the author shares his journey and personal post-war healing found in God's Word, in addition to his call to hold our elected officials accountable for stewarding the health and healing of our country's soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines, now and forever.

A simple six-word sentence from a beloved relative "You have never given me hope" led to a two-year intensive search on the meaning of hope. It is a word that is used, often over-used, without any real context. "Give hope this year" or "Give the gifts of hope" or "Hope is springing forth" and especially in the 2020 year of the Covid-19 pandemic, "Hope is on the way!" All of these sound good, but how is hope defined? Can we "give" others hope, if so, how? HOPE What is it? Where is it Found? Looks at hope theologically, Biblically, psychologically, sociologically, and through the ethos of American hope and false hope. Framed throughout are stories from the author's life within and without the church, along with the realization that hope exists in multitudes of ways, many undiscovered by the conscious mind and heart. This work is an attempt, like an archaeological excavation, to unearth the treasures of hope that have been dormant, buried, and unused. Much has been discovered from the past and the present that gives promise for the future.
