Heartfelt Thoughts

I am a loon in swoon; writing
from the other side of the moon.
I am gazing upon the face of space
standing amidst our heaven's grace.
I dreamt of this sublime time,
a time that stops for me to savor.
A time that gives me time to relax
allowing all my thoughts to waver.
Even, perhaps by this endeavor,
I'm doing my heart and soul a favor.
Today is a day to die for. Today is a day to live for.
A day belonging to the dawning with the dew
- from me - to you.
