Hip Hop Tales: A Bit of Maelstrom

Laura Maynor is loving life at Hadley Farm spending time practicing with Sugar for the Maryland State Fair with her best friend, Jodi, and training Sugar's yearling daughter; Hip Hop. After a long year at school dealing with a bully named Vali, summer finally arrived, and Laura is in her splendor. Late one summer afternoon, a majestic wild mustang arrives at the farm capturing Laura's heart. Unfortunately, the mustang's trainer bullies him, much like Laura was bullied at school. Laura can relate to the wild soul and becomes obsessed with the wild horse. She wants to save him from the abuse. To make matters worse, Vali, her nemesis from school, starts taking riding lessons at Hadley and continues to make Laura miserable. Laura finds her way through the spider web of challenges in front of her and works tirelessly to save the mustang she's named Maelstrom. Now she has to face the repercussions of her choices and will be confronted with life-changing decisions to save him.
