History of Islam from the point of view of a european

Islamic culture presents itself as something quite unknown and mysterious to much of the rest of the international community. Partly driven by this emptiness, and partly influenced by a growing interest in the history of the Islamic community over the years (especially for its mysterious foundational history, as well as the years of the first caliphs), I conceived in its Day a study that intended to explain, if only succinctly, the history of Islam, and that of its people, during the Middle Ages.
