Humanitarian Sector response to Venezuelan migration in Cúcuta

Om Humanitarian Sector response to Venezuelan migration in Cúcuta

This research work aims to determine the scope and limitations of the actions generated by the humanitarian sector on the Colombian-Venezuelan border (international cooperation agencies and NGOs), through the different programmes and projects they have developed in response to the Venezuelan migration crisis registered since 2015 and which continues to occur today, in order to analyse to what extent these responses have contributed to the insertion of Venezuelan citizens in the labour market of the border city of Cúcuta and their sustainability over time, taking into account the lack of public policies generated by the local government to address this phenomenon.
