Om If Two Are Dead
“My agent will turn you in. You’ll never get away with this!”
“Not any more he won’t. We took care of him last night.” Two pistols began firing, and the leader drew his gun and added the coup de gras. Kathy looked at Jerry in distress. He held the camera on the scene. He had captured the whole execution. He held the camera for two more beats of his racing heart and then whispered, “We’ve got to get out of here, and fast!”
Chaos, gunfire, and death were the last things Jerry and Kathy expected once they returned from their duties in Afghanistan. Their tour through combat zone brought them together as friends, and although Kathy felt it had developed into something more, Jerry had plans to propose to his girlfriend the second he stepped foot on American soil. However, his heart is broken when he discovers that the girl he planned to spend the rest of his life with had already moved on.
When Jerry and Kathy decide to travel the lonely road home together, they decide to make a pit stop along the way—a scenic overlook in the Colorado Rockies. Their hiking trip is cut short when they stumble upon a gruesome murder. Thanks to Jerry’s quick thinking, he captures the entire crime on video. But things turn sour quickly when the murderers, part of a self-appointed vigilante group called “The Posse,” find out that their secret killing in the mountains wasn’t so secret.
Jerry and Kathy quickly find themselves running for their lives. Their combat skills of escape and evasion, cover and concealment prove handy as they dodge The Posse while also trying to get to the right authorities to turn the murderers in. What will happen when they are once again thrown together as “Battle Buddies”?
