Every woman wishes she had the life of Karen Lime. Karen is happily married to the love of her life, handsome, successful businessman William. They live in a beautiful single family home in a prestigious neighborhood in D.C. They have two beautiful children: Willow and William Jr. As the loving devoted wife of William, Karen spends her days shopping, getting pampered, driving luxury vehicles and just being a socialite around D.C. Karen is kuckoo. In reality, Karen is living in a fantasy world that does not exist. Karen has all of the fantasy except the man. Karen's past has created traumas that she cannot overcome. The reminiscence of the traumas has caused Karen to be stuck in her past. Because she is stuck, William is moving on with his life without her. When Karen wakes up and discovers that her fantasy marriage with William is falling apart, she vows that she will not end up like her mother.
