Le Jardin

- A Walk Through The Gilded Gardens

Om Le Jardin

A Walk Through My Gilded Gardens is a poetry book that guides you along the pathways of a seventeen-year-old's experience living and growing in a suburb of Philadelphia. The blending of art, photography, and written word allows for a vivid portrayal of his storyline, filled with pain, love, happiness, and hope for finding peace within himself. The contemporary poems tell the story of youth, coming of age, and the experiences young LGTBQ+ individuals face living in the 21st century. Over the course of 90 pages, the reader can watch as this growth plays out, as one learns to accept the pain of the world by embracing art, creativity and never giving up on the search for something new. This search is one many may find themselves on in their lives, but one must never look at themself or their life in ruin, for everyone truly lives within gardens saturated with color and painted with gold. Suppose you wish to lose yourself in another's story. In that case, I hope this book may bring relief and possibly a new perspective on life experiences, but, for now, I will be awaiting you at the garden gate, ready to guide you through my gilded gardens...
