I have read your Little Mouse with delight. What is more, both my wife and mother-in-law picked it up and were as delighted with it as I was. I liked your device of having Thoreau's more complex statements being translated into mouse talk.
From a strictly factual standpoint, outside the fairy-tale framework I believe everything is historically correct.
