Love Comes on Little Cat Feet

As Charlie moves from foster home to foster home, a loving family always seems out of reach. He reimagines Carl Sandburg's poem as he wistfully daydreams, noticing what love is and what it isn't. "Fog comes on little cat feet..." Or, "Love comes on little cat feet..." He revises as he processes the experiences in his life. When he finds an unpredictable friendship, Charlie comes to understand more about love and family than he'd ever expected.
