Mandated Happiness

In Mandated Happiness, automation and technology have eliminated all (real) jobs, made resources effectively infinite, and even cured death. In this brave new cybertarian world, bots control everything with an iron fist, using an all-in-one social media platform called Lifestream to control the masses.
With "death tourism" all the rage, we find Rick working his one-day-a-year job as host for those recycling their lives over and over again. But when Rick grows bored with endlessly repeating the same experiences, he meets a mysterious woman who causes him to regain his original memories-memories of war and the ones who will light the path towards a new and better future.
