This volume brings together a wide array of contributors to provide a global overview of immigration, focusing not only on the impact and role of immigration on the global north, but also on the effect of immigration on the global south (such as the contribution immigrants make to the economic and social development of their home countries) and the social and economic factors that give rise to immigration in the first place.
