Om Murder at the Shrimp Festival
Murder at the Shrimp Festival is the fourteenth novel in the LT Maggie Watson Mystery Series and the setting for this novel is in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Having begun a pro-bono agency when they relocated to South Alabama, Jonathan and Maggie had dedicated themselves to helping small cities with their criminal cases that were unsolved or that required more manpower than their respective budgets would allow. Their first case was that of a missing young girl from the Homewood, Alabama, area who was in the area for spring break festivities. Their second case was to locate a missing boat captain and his fishing party somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico. The third case was related to the shooting of the police chief of Gulf Shores, and the murder of CPT Caswell, the police chief of Bayou La Batre. They personally witnessed someone being tossed off an upper story of the condominium where they currently live. Having just solved the murder of young women being tossed off the top of condominiums, Jonathan and Maggie solved an impossible case of the disappearance and death of young hitchhikers. The Mayor of Gulf Shores and the Governor for the State of Alabama employ the M&J Detective Agency to help find the murderer of the Annual Shrimp Festival.
