My Soul Talks to Trees chronicles a woman's life well spent as a mother, daughter, sister, artist, teacher, counselor, wife, and lover. Brought up in a family of independent but often misunderstood women, Linda raised four children of her own, each with unique temperaments and talents she sought to nurture. Creating a home for her family while teaching writing to inner-city high school students and women prisoners, she loved as boldly and passionately as she sought truth and guidance from the world of nature and the world of spirit.
