Since the massive interest caused by the novel and film called "The Horse Whisperer" and subsequent publicised work by the likes of Monty Roberts and Linda Tellington-Jones there is great interest by the horse world universally and the general public in communicating with and healing animals.
This is a true "Black Beauty" story and tells the story of Nod, a mentally traumatised horse, unable to behave normally and his life and times. The other essential character in this dramatic story is Peter Neilson, a Scotsman, a trained engineer and former farmer, whose conventional life from a farming background always included horses and dogs.
