This collection of letters from Second Lieutenant Topham Becher Dabridgecourt Hough was discovered at Bridlington School ninety-six years after his death. They cover his entire army career, from enlistment in 1915, to the day of his death in 1916, aged 18 years.
In 2012, local historian Mike Wilson, became aware of the find and offered to create a book of the letters, which are both fascinating and moving, and an important record of the hopes and fears of one young man and his family back home.
