Lractitioners of this type of therapy try to help their clients heal by making them more aware of their bodies. They do this by having a deep knowledge of how everything is linked. This process often includes a wide range of bodywork methods, from somatic experiencing to gentle touch therapies, all of which are carefully designed to help people reconnect with their bodies and, by extension, their mental environments.2ne of the most important parts of body-oriented treatment is going back and looking at old traumas and feelings that were pushed down.
