Poderosa is a book about empowering Latino children to speak up and use their voices for good.
Mavi struggled with being shy until she realized that using your voice is a powerful act. She saw the impact Latina women who looked like her made in the community and was shy no more. This book also showcases Latino cultures and the women who made an impact.
