Om Quality Management
Quality is not accidental; rather, it is the result of careful planning and methodical execution. The planner / executor / producer must make a conscientious decision to undertake such an endeavor. This desire, or should I say, fervor, to make high-quality products / services must be formalized in a plan (preferably documented). The implementation of policy requires careful preparation. It is important to specify the expected quality level and how that quality will be reached. Quality exists in all quantifiable and measurable states, in all processes, and in all final goods. Quality is a reflection of human civilization, scientific and technological advancements, the increasing demand for more and better goods and services, and the corresponding efforts to meet that demand(s). The Quality Management requires the use of many criteria for decision making by various individuals and organizations with competing interests in a variety of quality-related activities with the end goal of accomplishing a wide range of goals. In order to maximize the positive impact on people's health and happiness over the whole product's lifecycle while minimizing the amount of energy and other resources used, we must focus on the various goals.
