Emerson Rabette sets off on a mission to save his job and ends up on the run with a beautiful woman.

To get to work on time, the middle-aged graphic designer must not only overcome his paralysing fear of the London Underground, but also quieten the raging voices inside his head. And it's only when the enigmatic Winter arrives on the scene that Emerson is able to subdue his demons and board the train.
But who is this mysterious young lady and why is she so fascinated with a married man twice her age?

Before he can come up with answers, a handwritten message scrawled on the carriage wall sends Emerson into meltdown.
