What does happen when we die? And where do we go? Norse cultures held the belief that a warrior who died in battle: an heroic death, would be rewarded with a place In Valhalla where they would spend their days fighting, training for the last great battle, and their nights feasting and drinking.
Imagine if they were right. Imagine that when warriors die they are transported to
Valhalla by Valkyrie.
Now imagine what would happen if modern day archaeologists removed the grave goods that had been so carefully and lovingly buried with the men all those centuries ago, and which were destined to spend eternity with them in that most mighty of halls.
Would they be able to fight? Would they have anything to fight with?
As they witness "The Diminishing" this is the reality that Renweard and his seven
companions must confront as they awake in Valhalla. This is the challenge they must meet, but in truth, they do not know how.
