Reeva is sad and lonely. She moved to a new town and the kids aren't always kind. Her dad tries, but he just can't seem to bring his daughter's bright smile back since her mom left. Until one day, a classroom visitor shares about a local pet rescue shelter and Reeva feels a spark of excitement. When they visit the shelter, she meets some adorable furry friends. Feeling more hopeful than she has in a while, Reeva convinces her dad they can't leave without a new loved one to bring home. She quickly learns that caring for others is the key that unlocks happiness within herself!
