Roe's Folly

Set in a dystopian alternate history version of America where Roe V Wade had the opposite outcome and never resulted in rights for abortion, instead being known as Roe's Folly, a decision that eventually led to a national right to life amendment that outlawed all forms of abortion and contraception as murder, and created a police state to enforce them, and where pro-choice protesters are viewed as potential terrorists.
In this alternate America suffering from the effects of tremendous crime, poverty and overpopulation with over 400 million citizens, a young girl named Destiny finds herself pregnant with an unwanted pregnancy which will lead to a legal battle before the Supreme Court that could alter the history of the nation in a chilling cautionary tale, that in light of the recent overturning of Roe V Wade could be showing us a vision of not so much an alternate history, but a possible dystopian future.
