The Veil Riders find themselves chasing after the Chosen Children forces, their enemy having used cruelly formulated blood magic to cut away from the continent and shift the Southern Elf lands West. Yule leads a freshly formed combat Division out to take the war back to the enemy forces being used under the crafty watch of the Fae Queen. What he finds in Alberdaand, however, is a bite that is far too large to chew, and becomes embroiled in the clash of a rogue Prince and a King that has far more skeletons in his closet than he lets on.
