Loatrons on the mystical island of Enda have protective magic that appears when they are in danger. Unfortunately, Sargon's magic is running away. When he's frightened, his hooves take off running and there's nothing the humiliated loatron can do to stop them. Now, an evil dragon threatens Sargon's town.Is this the loatron's chance to be a hero, or will he just be a cloud of dust in the distance?
In a reckless moment, Sargon brags he will destroy the dragon. Idle bragging, though, turns into life or death when his best friend, Dunstan, is captured by the dragon. Sargon sets out with his little sister and two other loatrons to save him. Viking raiders, vengeful mermaids, treacherous dragons, not even his cursed running will stop Sargon from protecting his family and friends.
