Om Sohmnial The princess without throne
A medieval and futuristic adventure at the same time, illustrated in both words and images with a decisive and sharp stroke, with clean angles and sharp edges, like the well-presented stories in which the art of good is sometimes confused with that of evil, to rise spontaneously with new vigour. Bad and good, winners and losers duel for a throne, the throne of a power that could be that of any country, of any district, perhaps even our own. Fantasy and reality intersect like the futuristic lines of a magical drawing that is set in fantasy but always draws inspiration from a reality congenial to many. The plates are drawn by the author himself. Davide Brovia, a new illustrator of exceptional representational value, uses techniques of intense colours with a skilful mix of styles. His figures live in light and pastel colours, on the multicoloured variations of light.
