Son of Ra

Book Synopsis: In 1993, several centuries after the death of the sun god, Ra, the Egyptian realm of gods has been left vulnerable. With the daughter of Apep ( Egyptian god of chaos ), Nesfatet, seizing the opportunity to exact vengeance on the gods, the surviving deities must band together to find the young reincarnation of Ra, Nile Abdel, in hopes of saving the world from being plunged into complete chaos. "Son of Ra" is an action-oriented fantasy story set within a fictional version of the 1990s, where Egyptian myth and the gods associated with it are slightly different from the original mythology of our world. Following from the perspective of 19-year-old Nile Abdel, Son of Ra is about leadership, loss, and perseverance in the face of great adversity. The story also deals with compelling concepts, such as reincarnation, the humanization of gods, and the idea of worlds existing beyond our own.
