Song of the Fresco

This captivating story takes place during the devastating time of the Italian inquisition. In a moving account, two young women, one from the 1950's and one from the early Italian Renaissance of 1439, connect to bring a dramatic change to the world. It is through perseverance and conviction that Giovanna persuades Maria to trust and follow her intuition, even though they are 500 years apart.
A series of dramatic events occur, which leads Maria to believe she is unable to stop the unfolding as she is moved along by the hand of destiny.
Ghosts? Time Travel? Witches? Warlocks? Who among us can say what is real or what is merely our own perception of real, voiced by our individual egos?
Even while the events were played out before her, Maria's travels to the Renaissance seem surreal, as though she were watching them as one would view scenes from a movie - dramatic, ethereal at times and tremendously metaphysical-all the while injected with a thread of magic.
