Kirby and Gracie have been best friends their whole life. They do everything together. One special activity the girls enjoy is helping Mrs. Clark, an elderly lady in their church whom they dearly love. But all of this is challenged when a new girl, Penelope Parrish, moves to town.
Penelope thinks her family's wealth and prestige allows her to do anything she chooses. She soon finds she has crossed the line when she messes with Kirby's little brother and Mrs. Clark.
