Om Strive to Be All You Can Be
This memoir recounts the life of Gene Fox, a young Jewish boy from the Bronx, raised by his single mother who made his early days possible from 1934 through World War II. It includes stories of West Point days, a tour in Germany where he faced the Russian enemy when the Iron Curtain closed in 1960, times of terror as an Advisor in Viet Nam, and amazing actions he participated in and mentors he had in the Pentagon and as a Program Manager. Fox takes us on an insider tour of striving to be all he could be as he successfully directed essential Army technology programs for the Strategic Defense Initiative that helped Gorbachev "tear down that wall." The technology he helped prove and develop is currently in extensive use in Ukraine and Israel in the Patriot, Arrow, and Iron Dome defensive missiles. Fascinating times. Strive to Be All You Can Be.
