The Family Secret

Jane and Sarah team up to help each other through the challenges they face to keep their babies after they have been brutally beaten by their boyfriends.
Being young, homeless, and penniless, Sarah goes into a shelter for abused women. While Jane, a minor, chooses to go back to her mother’s home. Her mother had kicked her out of the house a year before. Strange unexplainable things begin to happen around Jane which makes her question her own sanity. She is scared to tell Sarah because without her support and friendship, she doesn’t think she can stand up to her mother’s demand that she gives her baby up for adoption.
Jane receives a government letter after they had sent for birth certificates saying that there is no record of a Mrs. Helen Evans giving birth to Jane. This starts them searching for the birth certificate she had to go to Disneyland when she was younger.
The search leads them step by step closer to the discovery of a family secret. A secret so big that people have committed murder for it and almost kills Jane and her baby for it. A secret so big that it changes the girl’s lives forever.
