Diana Cambridge cannot take it anymore. The rural life in Allabrese has become too much for the city street orphan that she is, or so it seems, as her behavior appears to have changed since the last adventure. However, Diana is able to find solace in an unexpected friendship with a strange black horse and an estranged black aristocrat, Arturo Medici. In addition, Diana soon finds herself competing in equestrian races to cope with the anxiety that pulses from within in an attempt to run from what she cannot run from.Charlemagne and Tristan are aware of the change in Diana's behavior, but Charlemagne is powerless to intervene and instead antagonizes poor Diana, while Tristan is conflicted by his own emotions, and the two instead worsen the situation. Tristan, whose own ego and buried emotions from a former trauma keep him from approaching Diana, the two are at risk of indefinitely separating themselves and going their own way.What aches poor Diana's heart?
