The Geography of Soil

This book, first published in 1965, a study of the subject from a geographical viewpoint. Chapters 1-8 deal with the factors and processes in soil formation. Chapters 9-17 describe the soil groups of the different regions of the world - for example, desert and tundra, the boreal zone, the Mediterranean, and intertropical areas.
