Students of literature, philosophy, and religion who have any sympathy for the occult sciences might well pay some attention to the Kabalah of the Hebrew rabbis of ancient times; well whatever the religion held by the investigator, will not only gain in knowledge, but it will broaden your visions about life and destiny, by comparison of other forms of religion with the beliefs and doctrines in which it has been nurtured, or that he has adopted after he has reached middle age and the powers of discretion. Being fully convinced of the good that derives from it, I wish to draw attention to the dogmas of the old Hebrew Kabbalah. I had the fortune to be drawn to this study in a somewhat recondite way, at a period early in life, and I have had occasion to spend a little time in subsequent years to collect some knowledge of this philosophy Hebrew religious; my information on the matter has been augmented by the fact of being a member of "The Rosicrucian Society". However, the books Kabbalistic are very numerous and long, and furthermore they can only be studied in Rabbinic and Chaldean Hebrew, so I feel today less confident of my knowledge of Kabalah than I was before twenty years ago, when this essay was first published...
