This work is devoted to the problem of increasing the effectiveness of teaching students in the middle and senior classes of a general education school productive types of speach activity in English language. The topic of the study is relevant because at the present moment which is characterized by the importance of practical mastery of the English language as one of the international languages any this problem corresponds to the current situation. The need for qualitative improvement of knowledge of a foreign language is contradicted by the small number of hours of study load allocated to the study of this school subject grammar. Thus, within the framework of the educational process, it is possible to achieve a level of practical language as quisition through activating the learning process, which is achieved through increasing the motivation of students, on one side and providing them with the opportunity to take part in simulated speach situations with the other. The work proves that a business game has these capabilities.
