The Impossible Dream
A Bobby Ross Faith Novel
Volume 2 Welcome to The Impossible Dream, the second volume of the Bobby Ross Faith Series.
Bobby Ross' first assignment as a guardian angel is to usher a young, talented, little girl who has a golden-toned, voice that is sweeter than honey, from early age through adulthood, and to prepare her for her stretch run to gain salvation, and enter heaven.
Along the way, this wonderful, little girl, named Carlene Foster, from Turtle Lake, Tennessee, faces many trials in her life.
Included are competitions at the Grand Old Opera in Nashville, Tennessee, with her best friend, Pamela Wilson, from Alligator Tail, Mississippi, and changes in their friendship.
Toss in a sick pedophile who abuses Carlene, her stage mother, Irene, who pushes Carlene too hard to succeed in the music business, a local boy, Tommy Shields, who becomes her first husband, a cheating college boyfriend who ends up dating her roommate, a brutal rapist who abuses her on the University of Tennessee campus, and a campus security cop who won't press charges against the rapist, and you have a confused young woman who starts questioning God.
Enter a good guy, David Langston, who rides to the rescue, and becomes her recording agent, and then her fiancé, until tragedy strikes again. A local, thieving, Nashville disc jockey, Freddy Burd, then steals her heart, and her money, until he exits, courtesy of mob hitman Rocko Santini.
Supporting Carlene throughout her journey are her father Charley Foster, her Aunt Millie, her Uncle Doug, and God, who instructs Bobby Ross to make sure she does what is necessary to be saved, and enter God's kingdom.
Travel with Carlene as she learns the greatness of God's love, and forgiveness. She then becomes a shining light which gives others hope, and confidence, to walk in the Lord's straight path to the narrow gate which is the entryway into heaven.
I know you're going to enjoy this inspirational, meaningful, interesting, powerful, novel.
Blessings,
Dr. Hal Graff
