The Monolith

The Reid and Radley families have lived cheek by jowl under the silent shadow of the Monolith for over two hundred years in the Yorkshire Dales, but things are about to change. David Reid has returned to his home at Ellenby to find the farm run down and neglected. His cantankerous father's health is failing, but David is determined to put things right, no matter what the cost. The Radley fortunes are also waning and in desperate need of financial rescue, but where the banks are reluctant to step in, David has no such qualms.
