This paper aims to present the working conditions of the social worker in the CRAS in the municipality of Vianópolis, considering the societal transformations that have taken place in contemporary capitalism, their consequences for social policies, especially the Social Assistance Policy, as well as the transformations that have taken place within the profession. To this end, a bibliographical and documentary study was carried out on the central determinants that permeate the working conditions of the social worker, as well as a field study to get to know this reality, thus trying to identify the limitations imposed by the situation on the work of the social worker, and thus answer our problem, which is to know the main factors that interfere with the work of the social worker in the CRAS.
