Carl and Rose Baker wanted to start a family, but were told they could never conceive. Out of desperation, they promised to do anything if they could have a baby.
After Timmy was born, their lives were happy for several years. The couple seemed to forget their commitment, but payment would soon be due.
There was no mistaking their responsibility, especially when two visitors from the department of Inter-dimensional Studies showed up at the door.
